NOPE teaser shows Steph Curry deciding not to participate

Jordan Peele‘s upcoming horror movie nope has kept most of its finer details under wraps. The secret to the next mysterious excursion from the Go out The writer-director has left fans desperate for new details to piece together new images and trailers. When it comes to the new teaser released today, you might be a bit disappointed as you won’t find much, but there is an appearance of Stephen Curry, so that’s something! And it was apparently inspired by one of the most terrifying moments in Peele’s new film.

The new teaser premiered ahead of the first round of the NBA playoffs today and featured the Golden State Warrior’s all-star point guard Steph Curry. The teaser features the number one three-point shooter of all time, achieving exactly what fans saw in the official trailer nope revealed in February would be recognized as Haywood Ranch, which appears to be the film’s primary location. Curry enters a barn containing a basketball court. He turns on some music and shoots the ball until the storm that raged through the farm in the previous trailer makes its way to the barn. The multiple MVP winner walks to the exit, looks up at the storm and simply says “no” before turning and disappearing off screen.

While this teaser gives us a comedic moment with the basketball star in the film’s set, it doesn’t give us a deeper insight into what the film has in store for us. What is known about the upcoming thriller is that Peele is returning to that sense of eerie atmosphere and eating the horror that movies bring Go out and Us portrayed. Speaking of Go out, nope will see starring in the acclaimed 2017 film, Daniel KaluyaReunites with Peele when he takes a cameo role Keke Palmer as Jimmy and Jill Haywood, farmers who witness a “mysterious and abnormal event” befalling their ranch and the surrounding town. Steven Yeun will also appear in a starring role in the film. In addition to Kaluuya, Palmer and Yeun, the film’s cast also includes people like Michael Wincott, Brandon Perea, Barbie Ferreira, Terry notary, Donna Mills, Jennifer Lafleur, Sophia Cotoand KeithDavid. Peele returns once again to both the writer’s and director’s chairs nope and also serves as the project’s producer Ian Cooper for Monkeypaw Productions.
