TJ was Sterling’s biggest critic and now that Sterling has bragging rights having shot him during the post fight conference he said: “The guy just kept talking about me, talking about my heart and… the spirit of a fighter. The spirit of a fighter is someone who never gives up if you ask me and I think I showed that this time.”

Sterling then went on to talk about his toughness and he said it was almost impossible for anyone to get him out of there, “I think I showed that even on my worst night which was my first performance against Jan. That was a shell of me, and he couldn’t get me out of there that night, and he wasn’t going to get me out of there that night either. I showed what I can do and what my mental strength is. It’s going to take you a lot more to break me and make me stop in there.” Completed Sterling.
