Nike re-releases Kobe 6 “Grinch” colorway

The National Basketball League has become famous for its Christmas Day live broadcasts. Sports enthusiasts across the globe understand that the National Football League has declared Thanksgiving their gift to the fans but for some Christmas may never come soon enough. This year Nike decided to contribute to the giveaway. Above December 24, 2020 Nike is set to release one of the most successful Kobe Bryants and Nike Zoom collaborations. The Nike Zoom Kobe Protro 6 “Grinch” colorway is on its way, and the sneaker community couldn’t be happier.

The Kobe 6 “Grinch” colorway has been a part of sneaker art history since its debut at Christmas 2010. On this day in history, Kobe Bryant showcased signature sneakers in a color scheme that captures the attention of the audience to enjoy. during holidays. In addition to a beautiful footwear show, The Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers decided to show off their Christmas spirit. This is a highly anticipated game and the NBA knows it too. In 2010, LeBron James teamed up with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade to create one of the best “Big Three” the Association had ever seen. The views for this Christmas Day battle should recreate the intense anticipation for the game’s prologue. In a situation that the whole world is watching the most, Kobe decided to wear something as vibrant as the moment.

When the final whistle blew, the Miami Heat were called the winning team by a sixteen-point lead. The design includes a dual-activated foam sock lining, Nike zoom breathers in the forefoot and heel, and a phlyon-injected midsole. To complete the canvas, Avar added polyurethane to the “island” upper part of the shoe to create the illusion of snake skin.

Once the creation is complete and the snakeskin is added, the Kobe 6s are now ready to wear the Black Mamba. With a shoe that is much lighter but also has a touch of street fashion, Kobe has been able to continue his relentless pursuit of perfection while playing on the NBA hardwood courts.

After the end of the season in which the Lakers were able to take home the NBA championship, the 2010-2011 Los Angeles team focused on being champions again. After a season filled with highlights, games and great moments, basketball enthusiasts are still finding ways to thank Kobe for releasing the shoe that sparked the second half of the NBA season. After wearing the Kobe 6 during the 2010-2011 season, Kobe then designed the Kobe VII for the next season. Due to Kobe VI’s success in the field performance, Kobe VII had a solid canvas and idea to work with. Ultimately, these improvements were made to the Kobe VI series that helped Kobe take home the `gold medal from the 2012 Olympic Games.

Although the world lost Kobe before his time, his legacy lives on throughout the art in the game and his sneaker collection. Kobe’s stat line for the 2010-2011 season proves that his shoe is designed to take athletes to the next level. Bryant was able to complete the regular season without missing a single game due to injury that year. He was also able to average 25.3 points per game in total while still managing to get 4.7 assists per game out. It’s no surprise that one of the best payers to ever play this game was able to leave his mark on the ring as well as in the streetwear community at the same time.

In honor of Kobe Bryant and his legacy, Nike has decided to launch five additional colorways for the Kobe 6 throughout the next calendar year. These releases include color schemes like “Chaos”, “White Del Sol”, 3D Hollywood, “Del Sol” and “Think Pink” Kobe 6’s. While Nike has decided to re-release some of the greatest Bryant and Nike Zoom collaborations, it’s hard to believe that any of Kobe’s sneakers will capture the same heart as the Nike Zoom Kobe Protro “Grinch” “6’s.
