Nicole Kidman’s Christmas Confession Sparks Fan Reaction: ‘You Know That Feeling’

Anyone feeling the post-Christmas low?

Beloved Australian actress Nicole Kidman certainly hinted that she was struggling after a hectic holiday season when the star shared a telling post on Instagram on Tuesday.

Alongside a photo of her sleeping dog, Julian, Kidman simply wrote, “Dog tired.”

Two days earlier, Kidman shared a message alongside a photo of her next to a decorated Christmas tree.

“I wish you and yours the best of holidays,” wrote the star.

She and husband Keith Urban were back in Australia just days ago when the couple arrived at Sydney Airport on December 18 with their daughters Sunday, 14, and Faith, 12.

Two days after their jet-in, Kidman and Urban attended a Vogue Australia soiree at the famous Bondi Icebergs, with Kidman stunning in a shimmering black dress.

The next day, the couple hosted a star-studded party at their luxurious North Sydney penthouse.

So it was perhaps no surprise that Kidman felt a little tired as the Christmas festivities drew to a close.

Fans could certainly empathize.

“Lovely, I know that feeling,” wrote one fan.

“Christmas can do that to the most energetic of souls,” added another.

“I feel that,” said a third simply.

Kidman and Urban returned to Australia for Christmas this year to spend some much-needed time with their mums.

Kidman’s mother Janelle, 81, has reportedly been unwell for much of this year, while Urban is now also eighty.

“My mom just turned 80 and Nic’s mom … who knows how often we celebrate Christmas with someone, but especially with our moms,” Urban told New Idea.

“(We) really appreciate this chance to spend Chrissy with (our mothers) and our family in Australia.”

Both Kidman and Urban lost their fathers Anthony Kidman and Bob Urban in the last 10 years.

“They feel blessed to have the chance to all be together again,” an insider told the publication.

“It’s been too long since they were all together.”

The couple spent some time in Australia in early 2022 while filming Urban Channel 7’s The Voice Australia.
