Nick Saban has a truly sociopathic view of the 2021 season for Alabama football

In a recent interview, Nick Saban had quite the opinion of his team for 2021, and we won’t lie – it’s worrying.
Leave it to Nick Saban to drop the mic in a preseason interview because nobody had a rebuild year on their bingo card.
Frankly, it’s slightly sociopathic to suggest that a team going to a national championship was in a formative year.
In conversation with McElory and Cubelic in the morning (h/d BamaOnLine via 247Sports), Saban said bluntly that the 2021 season is a rebuild for the tide.
This man duped the entire fanbase because the Tide hasn’t had to be rebuilt for a long time. The Tide reopen as the preseason’s No. 1 team for the fifth time in seven years.
To say that Alabama was rebuilt last year is absolutely ridiculous. Saban goes to great lengths to make sure people know why Alabama got hit on the tail by Georgia in the national championship game.
Nick Saban stunned us all with his comments on Reconstruction.
Not because Georgia was the better team, but because they rebuilt. Sure Nick, whatever you do helps motivate the team for the upcoming season. Now Saban has given the Dawgs some credit, but his nonsense from the SEC Media Days and now this — it’s like he walked in at the deep end and used tactics that other coaches use.
This Alabama fandom doesn’t know how to lose, so we understand this is a new thing for them, but come on man, a year of rebuilding? no It wasn’t a build-up year because there were many returning playmakers for the Tide, including a senior quarterback. Did they have to replace some people?
Yes, but under Saban they recruit well every year and to say it’s a rebuild is weird. They’ve kept 5-stars in the program all along and continue to rank among the best teams in the country.
But now that Saban has said it, that fandom thinks it’s been a rebuilding year. Bless their hearts as it is sad to see how they have been brainwashed and obsessed with Saban.
Honestly, these comments from Saban are exhausting to read because by this point everyone knows Alabama will be in contention. If they’re not, things get interesting. Until then, Alabama isn’t rebuilding, they didn’t rebuild last season, and it’s time to stop worrying about 2021 and focus on the new year.
