Matt Corral Injury Update: QB Rebels Get Great News ahead of 2022 NFL Draft

A big conversation during New Year’s Day originated on ESPN Kirk Herbstreit’s comment on players opting out of bowling. His comment went viral for all the wrong reasons. While his Ohio State Buckeyes had no problem racking up points without its two top wide receivers at the Rose Bowl, people were sick of seeing Corral go down like him.

Given that he has suffered no major ligament damage, this should not negatively affect Corral’s stretching. While he’s not expected to be the first quarterback off the table, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Corral break into the top 10, perhaps behind Pitt’s Kenny Pickett and possibly after North Carolina’s Sam Howell. Corral won’t miss out on the life-changing payoff from his Sugar Bowl injury.

Even in defeat, there was no doubt that Corral wanted to compete one last time with his teammates.
