More than 100 players from dozens of NCAA organizations have publicly denied remaining eligibility and announced for the 2022 NFL Draft the deadline for the declaration to be passed on Monday. The impressive list includes Doak Walker Prize winner Kenneth Walker III, Butkus Prize winner Nakobe Dean and Ray Guy Award winner Matt Araiza, among other laureates.

Once again, the underclassmen are predicted to be among the top targets in 2022 NFL Drafts. Nine of the top 10 players on CBS Sports Outlook Rankings were the underclassmen, along with 24 out of 32 of the top 32 predicted. Alabama tackles Evan Neal’s offensive projects as the #1 choice overall in forged manuscripts by Chris Trapasso and Josh Edwards.

Due to the five additional conditions granted by the NCAA, the declaration for the draft looks a little different. Remote players who have returned since the 2015 draft leave the school as remaining players. Many seniors on the track also declared publicly for the draft as they could conceivably return in a qualifying year.

While this tracker includes players listed on their roster as underclassmen who have publicly stated for the draft, the official list is given by NFL next week may look a little different. Some players will be deemed eligible after graduating or playing for four years without the need to apply for early eligibility. The NFL will reveal every player who will qualify for the 2022 NFL Draft in the coming days.

The first round of the 2022 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 29, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. It will continue through April 30 with a total of 259 picks in seven rounds.
