San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles (-2.5)

The Eagles had a brief injury report Wednesday. Right tackle Lane Johnson was limited in practice with his groin injury, while cornerback Avonte Maddox was limited with a toe problem.

The 49ers had a fuller injury report as running back Christian McCaffrey (calf), running back Elijah Mitchell (groin) and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that both McCaffrey and Mitchell were day to day, and that he expects the former to play on Sunday. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel and cornerback Ambry Thomas were limited participants with ankle injuries, while defensive end Charles Omenihu was limited with an oblique problem.

Cincinnati Bengals (-1) vs Kansas City Chiefs

For the Bengals, offensive guard Alex Cappa (ankle) and left tackle Jonah Williams (knee) didn’t practice Wednesday. Both players were inactive for the divisional round win over the Buffalo Bills. Linebacker Joe Bachie (foot) and cornerback Tre Flowers (hamstring) were limited participants. Center Ted Karras was also listed on the injury report with a knee injury, but he was a full participant.

Everyone’s eyes this week were on star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who sprained his ankle in Saturday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Good news for Chiefs fans: Mahomes was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon was also a full competitor with an ankle problem, and linebacker Willie Gay Jr. was a full competitor with a toe injury. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman was the only chief handicapped in Wednesday’s practice as he was a restricted participant with his pelvic injury.
