What the NFC playoff picture looks like after the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Soccer Team and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Buffalo Bills in extra time.

While several teams were eliminated from the latter tournament at AFC, the NFC playoff race couldn’t be more exciting, especially after Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Get a big win in Week 14.

Dallas improved to 9-4 for the year with a thrilling finish against the Washington Soccer Team. With their ninth win this season, the Cowboys are one step closer to victory at the NFC East. As for the Buccaneers, they won big in extra time against the Buffalo Bills. The 10th win this season gives Tampa Bay another win to secure the first division championship since 2007.

The Arizona Cardinals, Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers and Cowboys would be the four winners in the NFC if the season ends today. The three NFC Wild Card teams will be the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Football Team. Washington is ranked 7th seed, despite having an index below 500 for the year. This is where things get really interesting.

There are four other teams in the NFC with 6-7 records outside of Washington. It beats the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints from eighth to 11th place in NFC based on tie procedures. The Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks are a Washington back-to-back game 5-8 during the season. They are ranked 12th and 13th respectively.

And no, those aren’t the only teams alive for a playoff spot in the NFC. Chicago is losing to Washington 1.5 games with a score of 4-8. Sunday night football compared to the packers at Lambeau. The New York Giants are struggling 4-9 with just two games away from Washington for the final spot in the playoffs. The only team in NFC that was mathematically eliminated were the Detroit Lions.

This has been the final four weeks of the season with great excitement for all fans to watch.
