New York Rangers are the most profitable team in the NHL

In most cases, the most profitable team to bet on is the team that no one expected to be good, but they continue to win games. That’s exactly what the New York Rangers have done this season.

With a score of 16-4-3, they hold the second best record in the Metropolitan Division and they are 9-1 in the last 10 games. They are also on a six-game winning streak as of this writing.

Based Pre-season odds, the team that placed fourth with the Capitals to win the Division, Rangers overreacted. They can thank goalkeeper Igor Shesterkin for a large part of their success, as his 0.937 save rate is tied for the best in the NHL.
