New York Giants WR Kenny Golladay disappointed by lack of touchdowns

When the New York Giants signed wide receiver Kenny Golladay in freelance agency, big things were expected from their new #1 target.

With Golladay’s 6-foot-4 frame and previous track record, he was put in the big plays and became an elite red-zone target for full-back Daniel Jones. Asking for Golladay is a move that leads many to believe that the Giants will turn the tide this season.

Now, nine games in the season, with the Giants sitting 3-6 and Golladay making just 19 hits for 310 yards and not a single touchdown.

With Golladay placing high expectations on himself, the Giants movie is disappointing with its lack of production.

“Personally, of course I like to aim and set as many touches as I want. Are you annoyed? For me, yes, just because I haven’t entered the (end) zone yet. But at the end of the day, as long as I’m catching up to help us get the breakdown, then I’ll be fine,” Golladay told reporters on Thursday.

Golladay played in just six games, missing three games due to injury. He was also absent for much of the loss to the Dallas Cowboys, where he suffered a knee injury.

Of course, Golladay has been plagued with injuries throughout his career, which may have made some teams reluctant to sign him this past season. However, after doing their due diligence, Big Blue decided to remove him.

NS The Calling Game of the Giants needs to be tweaked if they’re about to get their former Detroit Lions receiver to help Big Blue advance to the playoffs. Golladay and alleged assault coordinator Jason Garrett sideline exchange of words early this season than exactly that.

Golladay certainly showed why Big Blue signed him to a lucrative contract when he was given the chance. If they’re going to push for a wildcard spot in the NFC at the end of the season, they’ll have to get their major free agent involved more of the offense.
