New World releases Season 2 PTR patch notes but is forced to postpone public testing
Have you been looking forward to the upcoming new season? New world? Then maybe you were hoping to gain access to the public testing area that was supposed to open yesterday, but were disappointed when you found out it has been delayed.
The delay of the PTR was first announced yesterday afternoon as Amazon Games cited an unresolved issue that was causing issues. A few hours later, the studio confirmed that testing would not be happening as scheduled, but assured players it was working to open the PTR as soon as possible.
Meanwhile it is The PTR build patch notes have been released, which detailed what will be included in the four content releases for the build, detailed a variety of fixes, and showcased several weapon ability adjustments. The PTR isn’t open at the time of writing, but those watching the MMO should read through the planned changes.
Unfortunately we won’t have a build for release on the PTR today. However, our team is working diligently to ensure that the Season 2 test build is delivered as soon as possible. In the meantime, check out the full list of patch notes for what to expect:
