New Castle Police Chief arrested on suspicion of threatening crimes – Greeley Tribune

The New Castle Police Chief has been arrested on a criminal offense investigation.
Anthony Andrew Pagni, 58, was committed to the Garfield County jail after an incident Friday night, according to city manager David Reynolds.
Pagni is on administrative leave from his post pending the conclusion of the investigation, Reynolds said in a statement.
According to the sheriff’s office’s duty roster, Pagni is being investigated for one felony aggravated by a gun and two misdemeanors, prohibited use of a gun and harassment (strikes, shoving, kicking).
Pagni also works as a firearms instructor at Executive Security International in Castle Rock.
