While Kevin Durant continuing to keep the Brooklyn Nets afloat amid a multitude of injuries and players are slapping protocols, the organization continues to fill their roster through hardship waivers, signing free agent protections Shaquille Harrison under a 10-day contract, Yahoo Sports Chris Haynes reported.

Harrison was a standout in the Philadelphia 76ers’ training camp, appearing in four pre-season games, averaging 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game. After the season passed, Harrison was assigned to the 76ers’ G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, where Harrison found success on both sides of the ball, averaging 19.6 points, 6.6 rebounds , 5.9 assist and 3.3 steal in seven games.

Harrison isn’t the only freelancer joining the Nets this week, as The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported yesterday that former striker Orlando Magic James Ennis III will sign a 10-day contract with Brooklyn. He averaged 8.4 points and 4.0 rebounds in 24.0 minutes, scoring 43.3 percent from deep for the Magic. Wing 6’7 was not resigned by Orlando after 41 games. This will be the eighth team he plays for in his career.
With seven players in last night’s protocols, Durant would take the Nets to a third straight win over the Philadelphia 76ers 114-105. After playing 39 minutes and nearly dropping a double in a row, Durant could see an increase in rest time heading into the break as the Nets continue to replenish their bodies.
