Netflix halts development of Will Smith action film Fast and Loose

From the outside, the surest way for Will Smith to rebuild his post-Oscars reputation would be to return to the blockbuster action arena that made him a megastar in the first place, but it’s starting to look like it won’t be nearly that easy .
A complaint was made shortly thereafter bad boys 4 has been temporarily put on hold, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Netflix is halting development Fast and easywith whom Smith would have teamed up Hobbs & Shaw and fast train Director David Leitch.
The project was first announced in July last year, starring the former Fresh Prince as a man who wakes up in Tijuana not knowing who he is or how he got there, before discovering he was living a double life as a criminal kingpin and CIA agent but unsure of his real identity.
Leitch actually dropped out before the Oscars, leading to Netflix issuing an “urgent call” to find a new filmmaker to take the reins. However, after the slap in the face that was heard around the world, the streaming service has decided on a put Fast and easy on ice.
Questions are already being asked about how Apple handles historical thrillers emancipationand now the additional setbacks for bad boys 4 and Fast and easyit could be a long way back for Smith to the top, if he can get there at all.
