Neiman Gracie vs. Goiti Yamauchi fight card

Bellator 284 will see two gods fighting as Neiman Gracie and Goiti Yamauchi fight for control.

It’s a grab-tastic encounter at Bellator 284, as Neiman Gracie and Goti Yamauchi face off in a battle of the best grapplers in Bellator. Gracie is, of course, a member of the legendary MMA family he shares a name with, and perhaps the finest of his generation. He has nine submissions to his name and is 11-3 overall. He faces off against Yamauchi, who has more submission wins than anyone in Bellator history. His nine submissions with the company is a record, but he also has a whopping 21 total.

This will be a grappling class of the highest order, and while you probably won’t see a KO or TKO of any kind with these two men, if you appreciate high-level grappling, this is the main event for you.

But that’s not all. Former Bellator interim heavyweight champion Valentin Moldavsky returns to the Bellator cage following his loss to Ryan Bader, who unified the heavyweight titles. Moldavsky takes on Steve Mowry, the undefeated contestant who makes a big leap in the competition.

Bruna Ellen, who is always tough, takes on former Bellator Flyweight Champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane, who is on a two-fight losing streak, the first of her career. Fans will also get to see Said Sowmawho may be in line for a heavyweight title fight if he can get one a few more wins.

Also, Austin Vanderford returns to the cage after being thrashed by Gegard Mousasi in their middleweight title fight. Vanderford is hoping to get back on track after his first loss of his career by taking on Aaron Jeffery.
