The NCAA on Thursday announced penalties against Air Force Football and four people for recruiting violations committed during the time of death from COVID-19 under an enforcement agreement. This is not the final formal decision, but is in part a result of the NCAA’s attempt to expedite the enforcement process and allow a case to be split with cooperating parties. A fifth person has challenged the alleged violations.
Some of the penalties include two years of probation, a 10-year reduction in football squad size for four years, penalties for having cause for the four people cooperating, and a reduction in recruiting days.
