NBA’s 3 Best Head-to-Head Bets for the Heat vs. Sixers (Maxey is regaining momentum)

The top team at the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat set off to host the Eastern Conference rivals at the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. This is the second game against the Sixers, but both games will be played at their home turf.

Let’s take a look at some of the odds in favor of this match, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Tyrese Maxey 3+ Threes Made (+165)

Despite the fact the Heat had a great defence, they were unable to stop Maxey the last time these two teams played. Maxey scored 17 points out of 3/6 from downtown. He has named at least two thirds in eight of his last ten games and has averaged 5.2 tries per game.

While he doesn’t pour in scores like he did a few weeks ago, he is more likely to get hot-tempered at any point and drop a few tries to cash in on this bet.

Bam Adebayo BELOW 17.5 (-110)

This blurriness is less about Adebayo than it is about Joel Embiid. The pair will be tit-for-tat throughout the night in a game between two teams with phenomenal defenses in the paint. Embiid in particular is a beast and I don’t think Adebayo has enough skill to go against him.

Adebayo has been playing well lately, having surpassed this tally in six of his last nine games. However, one of those games was against the Sixers and was Adebayo’s worst game in the past two months. He only scored six points after 31 minutes thanks to Embiid’s killer line. I expect similar struggles tonight.

Matisse Thybulle 2+ steals (+130)

Thybulle has a very annoying attacking style of play and that has paid off. Thybulle leads the Sixers in steals per game and has been even more tenacious lately. He has surpassed this total in three of his last four games, including a six-game steal against the Nuggets last Monday. On top of that, the Heat ranked 24th in the NBA in terms of goals per game when fouled.
