Why the Lakers can cover the spread

The Lakers list Anthony Davis as probable and LeBron James as questionable for Tuesday. Obviously James’ condition will be huge and the route will be affected in a big way if he is disqualified. It looks like James will play, but to be safe you can wait until your status is announced before placing your bet. The Lakers will be looking to improve their 3-5 lane record this season, as they continue to try to find rhythm in an unstable start to the season. The Lakers have struggled to find a good chance this season between James’ injury and the process of trying to fit in the new pieces. Russell Westbrook got better in the late stages, but suitability remains questionable as it often is with Westbrook and other stars.

Oddly enough, the Lakers are just 7-15 away this season, but they should be able to win against the Kings on Tuesday. They are looking to stay above .500 (and not fall below it), and as the better team they should be able to take advantage of a match against an inferior team like the Kings.

Why do kings cover the spread

The Kings followed up their three-overtime win over the Lakers with a stupid performance versus Memphis Grizzlies. Somehow, the Grizzlies blew the kings away on the 27th on Sunday, then the kings flew back to California after the game. The Lakers have been in California since the three-overtime loss, so they should be the more rested team here despite being on the road.

Sacramento are just 3-7 at home this season, and Harrison Barnes, who could be their best player so far this season, was listed as unlikely to return Tuesday. . The Kings will have an uphill battle to defeat the Lakers for the second time in less than a week without Barnes. De’Aaron Fox and Tyrese Haliburton will look to shoulder the weight against a Lakers team hungry for wins after a rough start to the season.

Lakers-Kings final picks and predictions

Take the Lakers to victory and past the kings on Tuesday. Los Angeles hasn’t been as good for the spillover, or overall good this season, but they should be able to take care of the Kings on Tuesday. The Lakers will need to be able to beat teams like the Kings on the road if they are to catch up in the Western rankings and live up to the pre-season hype. So far this season, the Lakers have been hugely disappointing. They should be able to win and comfortably win against a side-by-side Kings team, but that doesn’t mean they will.
