The company also announced that “a new original song by PJ Morton” and “new renditions of fan-favorite music from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit film The Princess and the Frog” will be coming to the attraction.
Disney announced that PJ Morton will “write, arrange and produce the original song for the attraction.” He will perform and produce the New Orleans sessions with entirely new arrangements of the song as well as songs from The Princess and the Frog as part of the attraction.”
Meanwhile, Terence Blanchard handles the musical arrangements for the attraction’s queue. Terence works with us to select songs from The Princess and the Frog and iconic New Orleans themes. Disney fans may recognize Terence Blanchard’s music when he played the trumpet parts of Louis the Alligator in The Princess and the Frog.
What fans of Tiana’s Bayou adventure can expect

Disney Parks previously reported that the new ride would pick up where the popular 2009 film left off and would see Tiana’s life unfold following the success of her restaurant debut and marriage to Prince Naveen.
The plot follows Tiana as she bought the salt mine and surrounding lands from which the salt dome was operated. Fans will see well-loved characters from the film including Tiana’s mother Eudora, her husband Prince Naveen and the loveable alligator Louis, all of whom helped Tiana revitalize the old salt mine and surrounding land, enabling them to grow fresh new ingredients as vegetables, Herbs and spices for your recipes.
As a thank you to her family and friends and the entire community for their support, Tiana wants to throw a big carnival party. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned, so Tiana invites the guests to meet up at Tiana’s Foods instead to help her find the missing ingredient.
The new ride, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, will open sometime in 2024 at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.
