Murder investigation launched after a 22-year-old man was found dead in an apartment in Melbourne’s CBD

The death of a young man, who was found unresponsive by a cleaner in Melbourne’s CBD, has sparked a murder investigation.
Ambulances were called to a flat on Flinders Street just after 10.30am on Saturday after cleaners found the 22-year-old unconscious.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics but could not be saved.

The flat where the young Kings Park man died was used as a short-term rental and police are yet to determine exactly what happened to him.
However, after an autopsy on the man, detectives consider the death suspicious.
Homicide is now investigating and anyone who may have information is urged to contact the police.
