The letters were collected and made into a book by actor Samuel Johnson to raise money for cancer research.
Best known for his role in The Secret Life Of Us, Samuel lost his own sister Connie to cancer in 2017.
The actor joined Larry and co-host Kylie Gillies on the Channel 7 show on Tuesday to read an excerpt of Larry’s sweet letter.
“Your blue eyes, Bora Bora lagoon at low tide, super neon blue eyes, mesmerized me then and still do 30 years later, every time I look at you,” his letter to Sylvie began.
“Those beautiful eyes, a window to your beautiful soul, can make me do anything.”
After the reading, Kylie shared her surprise, exclaiming, “Who knew he was such a softie.”
This is the second emotional post Larry has written for his wife in the last few months.
In December, the couple celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary, which prompted a sweet Instagram post from the TV host.
“From the moment the sun comes up to the moment it sets and every moment in between, I adore you,” Larry wrote on Dec. 4.
“The love, warmth and wisdom in those hypnotic magical blue eyes gets me through every day.
“I hope you’ll let me kiss your cheek and smell your eyebrows for another 28 years xxxxxx.”
Larry and Sylvie have two children together, a son, Jye, and a daughter, Tia.
Also featured in Samuel’s collection of love letters are Sam Mac, Sunrise weather presenter, as well as Grant and Chezzi Denyer.
“My dear Rebecca”
Sam wrote the letter to his partner Rebecca James shortly after she gave birth to their first child, Margot, in September.
In a video posted to Instagram on Monday, Sam read out his letter to Bec – who had a tearful reply.
“My dear Rebecca, exactly a week ago I held your hand when you safely gave birth to our little girl Margot,” he reads.
“Oh no,” Bec said, already wiping the tears from his eyes.
Describing Rebecca’s 12-hour mostly pain-free labor, he read, “You kept pushing and pushing and pushing.
“By only using our eyes to communicate, we found a language that only we understood.
“There may have been other people, other voices in that delivery room, but gradually they faded.
“It was just you and me and the unspoken connection,” he read on.
“I was wondering how on earth you could have such a high pain threshold, but then I remembered you lasted two years in a relationship with me,” Sam added, making Rebecca laugh.
“You were calm, strong and determined.
“You put your body on the line for our little family and I will never forget that.
“I fell in love with you 100 more times that night.”
