More rumors about Psaki’s departure are slipping out: will she leave?

According to Jack Posobiec, the well-known author, Twitter troll, and editor of Human Events known for “bringing receipts” and backing his sometimes wild claims with evidence. Well, he dropped a bombshell on March 29, claiming that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki is looking for the exit and is tired of cleaning after Slow Joe. In his words:
Hearing Jen Psaki wants to make the jump to MSM, wants out of the cleaning crew job
– Jack Posobiec 🇺🇸 (@JackPosobiec) March 29, 2022
That claim would make sense given current reports. For one, Psaki claimed from the start that she only wanted to stay for about a year, so reports have been circulating for weeks that her exit is imminent. Although she is previously denied these rumorsHer departure is still awaited.
Then there are the claims that Psaki’s replacement is currently auditioning, using Psaki’s Covid diagnosis to try out the press panel. As MSN reports:
Kate Bedingfield’s debut in the White House press conference room this week came under unlikely circumstances – the bench press of two of her colleagues due to Covid-19. But their high-profile performances could lead to greater visibility from Joe Biden’s longtime director of communications.
[…]Now Ms. Bedingfield has given her third White House press conference in as many days, and with Puck News reporting that Ms. Psaki could hang up her White House badge by the end of 2022, it’s clear the appearances are having an impact, even if entirely unintentional, than Ms. Bedingfield’s audition for the job of serving. Ms Psaki has her eye on a cable news contract and her most likely target is seen as MSNBC.
Also, another potential replacement for Psaki is waiting in the wings, as the same MSN article reports, saying:
She’s not the only one who could potentially be picked as the next White House press secretary, to be clear – her clearest competition comes in the form of Karine Jean-Pierre, the deputy chief press secretary and most often the team’s first choice when Mrs. Psaki is not available for daily briefings. Ms. Jean-Pierre would be the first black woman to serve as chief White House press secretary. and has already made history as the first black woman in decades when she did so last year.
Given Biden’s record of picking black women just because they are black women (Kamala and Kentanji), Ms Jean-Pierre may have a notch above Ms Bedingfield.
Poso’s claim is made even more credible by an article in Puck News which claims that all left-leaning MSM broadcasters have their eyes on Psaki and are trying to get her on board.
So Poso claims that Psaki may be leaving soon, her replacement is supposedly being chosen and tested, and the MSM stations are supposedly courting her. In addition, she herself said that she plans to stay in the position for only one year.
Could we have seen the last of Jen Psaki? Maybe not yet, but that day seems to be getting closer.
