FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ Robert Moore was the American pre-season for the second year in a row.
Midfielder Razorback earned second-base second-team recognition from the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, the newspaper that released the all-American teams ahead of the 2022 season on Tuesday. Moore was also named a pre-season American before the start of the 2021 campaign, winning second- and third-place team plaudits from Baseball America and D1Baseball, respectively.

Moore took down .283/.384/.558 with a 16-time home lead and 53 RBIs in 2021, his first season with the Razorbacks. This grad has established himself as one of the college’s top middleweight athletes, earning places on the All-SEC First Team, All-SEC Newcomer, and Defense Team. comprehensive SEC compliance later that year.
Leawood, Kan., Native received All-American freshman honors in each of his first two seasons at Arkansas. Moore, the first Razorback in program history to win the All-American freshman title in multiple seasons, has qualified for sophomore recognition due to the 2020 pandemic shortening campaign.
American Baseball ranks Moore as the number 8 college prospect for the 2022 MLB Draft as well as the second best junior athlete out of all college prospects. D1Baseball, meanwhile, ranks Moore as the number 10 college prospect and second best in college ahead of the upcoming draft.
Moore and Arkansas, the defending SEC regular-season and league champions, kick off the 2022 campaign – the Razorbacks’ 100th season – against Illinois State on February 18-20 at Baum Stadium- Walker.
