Monsters & Memories spends July refining a dungeon, zones, character models and backend technology

Throwback MMORPG Monsters & Memories started one again this month Look back at the progress made this past Julywith the main focus on improving two zones, refining character graphics, further elaborating on the Tel Ekir dungeon, and a variety of backend updates.

In terms of character work, Hobbits were repeated, as were Goblin models, an evil-eyed enemy, and some animation and rigging work for all three. In terms of zone work, the Shaded Dunes and Sungreet Strand areas have seen numerous updates, with a particular focus on the former as it houses Tel Ekir. Speaking of dungeon, who got some more props, made some material and geography adjustments, and built some prefabs and models for the cave.

On the backend technology front, Niche Worlds Cult discussed updates to character materials, optimization and refinement of battle formulas, and coding to support alternate rule sets such as hardcore mode or found character mode.
