We don’t hear many words Chronicles of Xenoblade recent Monolith Soft developer, so what did it do? Well, it turns out there is some activity on its official website.
Eagle-eyed Nintendo Switch fans have noticed the Japanese company’s website has been given a “completely new design” – with accompanying copyright updates. It also mentions how all articles dating back to 2017-2022 have been deleted and only four are currently displayed.
In particular, one mentions how the company is likely to integrate its accounts later this month on February 28. And some other information on the site has led to speculation about a “new game” announcement (already available constant rumors about Xenoblade Chronicles 3) may take place this month (via r / NintendoSwitch on Reddit):
Of course, there’s no guarantee there will be any announcements regarding Monolith Soft or Xenoblade in February. So don’t get too excited.
– On January 21, Yasunori Mitsuda said on Twitter that he is working on a project that will be announced this month (February). On the same day, Monolith Soft announced that on January 31st, you may not be able to access their website due to “server maintenance”.
– Bright website with brand new design.
– At the bottom now says © 2022 MONOLITH SOFTWARE INC. (Formerly 2017).
– In “NEWS” section, they removed all previous news dating from 2017-2022 and now only 4 news. One said that on February 28th they will integrate “Monolith Soft Kyoto Studio” with “Monolith Soft” on Twitter and Facebook, which makes me think they will announce their new game or release date of BotW 2 or both this month (they have been working on their new game for 4 years, since the release of Xenoblade 2).
