Now that everything is settled, he will join the CSK team on Thursday 24th March.

Moeen Ali’s father Munir Ali said: “He collected his papers yesterday and is ready to fly.” Confirming this to PTI, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan said: “He will arrive in Mumbai in the evening and go into isolation immediately .”
“He won’t be available for the first game against Kolkata Knight Riders but we’re glad all the uncertainty is over.” Viswanathan added.

Despite his arrival before the start of the season, CSK will give up Ali’s serve in the first game against Ali Calcutta Knight equestrian.

As the defending champions, CSK will play the opening match of IPL 2022 against runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. CSK will play their second match against the Lucknow Super Giants on March 31st.
