MMO shooter Ashfall previews companions, boss weaknesses, and base decorations

Do you remember ash fall? It is a self-proclaimed adventure shooter MMORPG from NetEase and Legendary Star Studios, set in a post-apocalyptic world where players take on the role of a wanderer tasked with securing the safety of a vault in search of the core of creation left who could save mankind. We spotlighted the game last September and shared one of his dev blogs a month later.

We’re returning to this one to keep an eye on the updates as there have been additional previews of the game’s mechanics. Recent blogs feature a companion system that allows players to carry an AI friend tag, a video preview of some boss weak spot mechanics that players can exploit to deal big damage or interrupt an attack, and a personal base preview showing how Players can unlock and decorate their own little home in the wasteland.

ash fall has yet to cement its release plans for mobile and PC beyond sometime later this year, but an end of the year tweet promises that work on a beta test is progressing. Until then, there are dev blogs to read after the break and a preview video for the boss mechanics mentioned.
