MKR star amazes with surprising baby announcement – ​​at the dinner table

An MKR candidate stunned with a surprising baby announcement – ​​at the dinner table.

Queensland sisters Patricija and Brigita took part in the competition at the end of Instant Restaurant last week alongside fellow Gatecrasher teams Amber and Mel and Aaron and Chris.

But just minutes into Monday night’s episode, outspoken Melbourne contestant Christian shocked judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge, as well as the rest of the MKR team, by addressing the “elephant in the room”.

The restaurant employee boldly asked Brigita if she was expecting a baby.

“There is an elephant in the room that needs to be addressed,” he said.

Surprised by the statement, Brigita replied, “What are you referring to?”

Christian didn’t give in and replied: “Are you pregnant?”

While Brigita wore a flowing pink dress, it was not apparent that she had a baby bump – which caused a nervous reaction from the other MKR participants.

“Oh no, Christian, what have you done?” said his MKR colleague Marcus.

Christian admitted it was a dangerous question, saying, “I took a big risk with that question.”

Brigita herself was also taken aback by the courageous request.

“Are you calling me fat?” she asked.

In the end, Christian was able to breathe a sigh of relief when Brigita confirmed her pregnancy.

“Yes, I actually am,” she said.

Sister Patricija added: “First team of three! Whooooo!”

Brigita added: “Yes, I am a big elephant – a six-month pregnant elephant.”

“You don’t call a pregnant woman an elephant!” Patricija laughed.

But the mother-to-be wasn’t the only sister who was the talk of the table.

Earlier in the episode, Melbourne contestants Nick and Christian admitted they were quite taken with Patricija.

“Patricija is pretty cute, isn’t she?” asked Christian.

Nick then replied: “I won’t deny it. But I can’t help myself.

“At the end of the day, I love love.”
