Mike Trout has given his son, who is still a toddler, a run home

Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout hit a home run from his one-year-old son Beckham at their home.

Baseball is a great thing for parents and their child to bond with. But if the parent is a professional baseball player, they probably won’t show mercy when playing a game with their kid.

Angels from Los Angeles Star Mike Trout decided to practice his swing because, he said, he hasn’t been getting a lot of shots lately. So he grabbed a toy bat and asked his one-year-old son Beckham to toss him. The toddler did so and Trout launched a massive hit at the family home.

To make things even wilder, Trout flicked the bat right in front of his son.

Mike Trout hits his son’s home run

This was a healing moment as Beckham told his dad to run the bases. That, and he grabbed the bat and said, “Now Beckham do it.” Absolutely gorgeous.

This video was posted early Saturday morning before the Angels’ home game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

In 42 games this season (before the Blue Jays game on May 28), Trout is posting .309/.411/.651 with 12 homers, 26 RBI, 35 runs scored and 46 hits.

Trout wanted to practice his swing, and he did so at the expense of his son, who seemed undeterred from giving up a home run.
