Unfortunately, his bad luck has continued even during this recovery stint.

Braves: Mike Soroka suffers another freak injury during rehab
The good news is that Soroka only sustained a bruised knee from the comebacker and the injury is not considered serious. However, it’s still very annoying that something like this would happen to a player who fought so hard to get back to the mound.
Still, there’s hope Soroka will return and be a key cog in the Braves rotation, provided he can stay away from other freak accidents. Still only 24 years old (he turns 25 in August), he’s already been showing elite major league stuff on the bump.
Braves fans and baseball fans alike will be delighted as Soroka overcomes this latest injury, continues his recovery and eventually gets back on the path to a promising career.
