Michigan football brings elite attacking striker to the transfer gate

Michigan football strengthens their attack for next season with the addition of Olusegun Oluwatimi from Virginia through the transfer portal.

Getting ready to play in the College Rugby Round hasn’t stopped Michigan football from making big moves in the transfer portal that could send them back into the knockout stages next season.

On Monday, werewolves received a pledge from Virginia’s former hub, Olusegun Oluwatimi.

Rimington Trophy finalist and All-American second-place team will join Michigan as one of the top available transfers on the market.

Virginia Olu Oluwatimi Center Will Move to Michigan Soccer

He announced the move with a simple tweet and hashtag: #GoBlue

Oluwatimi won post-season titles from the FWAA, Action Sports Network, Phil Steel and Professional Football Network for his work on the Virginia offensive line this year. Pro Football Focus has ranked him second among centers blocked from running this season.

He started in 2019 for the first time after diverging in 2018. He studied at the Air Force Academy in 2017. He started 32 games in a row.

Incorporating Oluwatimi ensures Wolverines will have a central place to look after for 2022 after saying goodbye to current center Andrew Vastardis. The senior will move on to the next phase of his career, handing over the club to a new transfer.

The 6-foot-3, 310-pound quarterback from Maryland will be expected to be anchored on the Michigan front in 2022, putting his explosive offensive skills to good use. The Wolverines have led the Big Ten rushing this season, and they hope to do it again next time around.
