Mets, Nationals fans complain it’s the first MLB game on Apple TV

New York Mets and Washington Nationals fans aren’t remotely happy with the quality of MLB coverage on Apple TV.

The New York Mets and Washington Nationals were two of the first teams to make it to Apple TV (along with the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels), and apparently fans aren’t too impressed with the broadcast.

For those who don’t know, MLB and Apple are releasing a new broadcast option for baseball fans this season. However, things don’t seem to be going so smoothly.

Overall people are pretty unhappy about the whole experience.

People really aren’t thrilled with the product they’re getting. The whole deal seems clunky and there are a number of issues that need to be worked out. And of course, fans who want to be at least remotely familiar with the broadcasters calling the game don’t know who’s calling the game.

So yeah, it’s not the best first impression one could have made. It could certainly be a lot better than what it is. But hey, maybe things will improve and the folks at Apple TV will figure out how to connect with baseball fans.

While they’re at it, they might find a way to actually streamline the service and make it easily accessible to more viewers.

But really, it remains to be seen if any of that could happen. It also remains to be seen whether baseball fans will give the Apple TV broadcast crew and people behind the scenes a real chance to do so. Mets, Nationals fans complain it’s the first MLB game on Apple TV
