Mercedes closes Kingspan deal amid Grenfell . backlash

Insulation company Kingspan and the Mercedes Formula One team have agreed to terminate a sponsorship deal, they announced in statements on Wednesday, amid a backlash over the Irish company’s connection to the Tower fire. Grenfell in 2017.

Kingspan, who has branded features on several of the team’s vehicles, said in a statement that its decision was made based on considerations of customers and employees.
