BALTIMORE, MD (WJZ)- The Maryland Department of Emergency Management and the Maryland State Police are warning motorists of possible increased traffic as the Freedom Convoy travels through the state on Saturday.
Travelers planning to use the Capital Beltway (I-495) should check this out or for delays. You can also follow @mdscha on Twitter for updates.

The Maryland State Police also issued a statement to WJZ stating, “Soldiers from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division, Automotive Safety Enforcement Division and barracks in the area continue to work with federal, state and local agencies to help the Monitor developments hourly.

The State Police are coordinating with public safety partners in neighboring states and will stand ready to respond appropriately with adequate resources to ensure the free flow of traffic throughout travel routes.”
The convoy is expected to travel I-70 from the Hagerstown area down to I-270 to the DC Beltway.
