Meghan Markle is under fire for bringing paparazzi to the Invictus Games and using the event as a photo opportunity

Meghan Markle is under fire for bringing her personal paparazzo Misan Harman to the Invictus Games, where she appeared to dominate the event with numerous photo opportunities. Meghan’s participation in her husband Prince Harry’s Invictus Games comes amid accusations that she is primarily concerned with herself through her frequent appearances and attention-grabbing gestures at the event.
Meghan was at Prince Harry’s side during the Invictus Games in Germany, and some observers question the purpose of her presence, as the event was originally created by Prince Harry in 2014 for sick or injured soldiers. Meghan was seen cheering on her competitors from the sidelines, often playfully interacting with cameras and drawing attention to her.

Meghan reportedly brought her own photographer to the event, which was confirmed when a rare photo went viral. This photo showed Meghan sitting next to Prince Harry’s childhood friend and Netflix documentary participant, Old Etonian Nikki Scott, while paparazzo Misan Harman sat behind them holding a camera.

Many suspect Meghan summoned him to the event, raising questions about the authenticity of candid moments and suggesting deliberate staging to give the impression he was an ordinary spectator taking photos of attendees.

The arrangement is further questioned as there appeared to be only a few people present and everyone seemed to be grouped together in one section. In other photos taken by official photographers, the photographer is conspicuously absent, suggesting a selective focus on Meghan.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward commented on Meghan’s presence at the games on True Royalty TV, explaining that some may question why she attended an event that many see as Harry’s initiative. She noted that while Meghan likely wanted to express her support for her husband, there is still a perception that she has a tendency to hog the spotlight, intentionally or unintentionally.

During one moment of the event, Prince Harry seemed less than pleased as he walked behind Meghan as they made their way to the stage to present medals to the athletes. In contrast, Meghan appeared happy and present and seemed to enjoy the applause.

Some critics argue that Meghan craves the spotlight and, in her eyes, every camera lens is focused solely on her, which is evident in her enthusiastic demeanor. However, they claim that their behavior is inconsistent with the reactions of the people around them, who may show signs of discomfort, despair and regret.
