A young woman accused of using lye and water mixed on her father is now charged with murder because he could not stand the wound. Megan Joyce ImirowiczThe 18-year-old was returned to the Oakland County Jail in Michigan, online records show.

Officers were unable to identify the victim, except for a 64-year-old man. He had been hospitalized since the October 1, 2021 incident and died on March 6, according to the Michigan State Police in a statement. Oakland Press report. However, police said they tried to talk to the victim.

Soldiers said they were sent to Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc on October 1. The man suffered chemical burns to “head, torso and extremities”.

“Soldiers responded to the victim’s home and found evidence of Lye drain cleaner scattered on the couch where the victim was found by EMS,” police wrote. They discovered the man’s daughter was at home when the incident began, they said.

Police wrote: “It was later determined that the daughter threw Lye powder at the father to catalyze a chemical reaction and cause burns. “She left the unconscious victim alone at her residence and was later discovered by a neighbor.”

Imirowicz was first charged with domestic violence with intent to cause great bodily harm, but now faces charges of public murder. She had just turned 18 years old just two days before allegedly assaulting her father.
