Fox deleted her Instagram account after posting a cryptic message quoting lyrics from the Beyoncé song “Pray You Catch Me,” including the lines: “You can taste the dishonesty/ It’s all in your breath .”
Fox deleted all pictures of Kelly and then deleted her entire account, leading many to believe the couple had split.
Now a week later, Fox has resurfaced online with a clean Instagram account containing a single post addressing the rumors and denying that a “third party” was involved.
“There was no third party interference in this relationship,” Fox wrote.
“This includes but is not limited to … real humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons.
“While I hate stopping you from posting random unsubstantiated messages that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you must let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now,” she concluded, adding praying hands emoji
One of MGK’s bandmates – guitarist Sophie Lloyd – had previously been drawn into the “Split Furore”.
Lloyd’s management team was forced to issue a statement after wild speculation linked them to MGK in gossip columns.
“Any suggestion that she has ever acted unprofessionally or walked out of their relationship is false,” the statement read, according to Page Six.
“It’s disrespectful to her as an artist and bad journalism and social commentary to report otherwise.”
Fox and Kelly were recently photographed by paparazzi leaving a relationship counseling session, with Fox apparently wiping away tears as they left.
A source told People that the couple have not broken up and are “working through their issues.”
The source said the couple had a falling out over Super Bowl weekend and Fox didn’t attend the Sports Illustrated Super Bowl party last Saturday, where Kelly appeared.
“Megan is very upset. They had an argument over the weekend and Megan won’t speak to him,” the source said.
“They haven’t officially broken their engagement, but Megan has taken off her ring.
“Things seem pretty serious this time.”
The couple first met on the set of indie film Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020.
They went public with their relationship later that year and got engaged in early 2022.
