FAYETTEVILLE – Team Arkansas Razorbacks #19/24 return to North Little Rock’s Simmons Bank Arena to face Hofstra Pride on Saturday (December 18) at 7 p.m. (CT). The game will not be televised or streamed but can be watched across the entire Learfield Razorback Sports Network.

• This will be Arkansas’ first time competing in North Little Rock as a ranked team.
• This will be the third meeting of all time between Arkansas and Hofstra. The Razorbacks have won both times before, and both times met in the 1970s. The last time the two schools met was January 4, 1978, at Pine Bluff – Arkansas’ first trip to the city. The 3rd-placed Razorbacks claimed a 95-70 win. Sidney Moncrief had a brace (29 points on 12/16 and 11 rebounds) while Marvin Delph scored 24 (11/15 FG).
• Former Razorback Abayomi Iyiola leads Hofstra in resilience (average 7.3). Hofstra Speedy head coach Claxton played for Eric Musselman in the NBA at Golden State.
• While the arena in North Little Rock was open for the 1999-00 season, Arkansas played in the city four times — each time winning — in the show’s early history (1923, 1930, 1936 and 1937).
• Since Simmons Bank Arena opened, Arkansas is in 12-9 place, taking four straight wins.
• The Razorbacks hit a 19-year record playing at North Little Rock last year due to COVID. The only year Arkansas didn’t play at North Little Rock was the 2000-01 season.
• Several Razorbacks will be returning home this weekend, including Connor Vanover, Little Rock native Khalen Robinson and Jacksonville production Davonte Davis.
