Ferrari comes up with another innovative strategy to ensure they rake in another win. The Hungarian GP was another class of disaster for the Italian powerhouse, who clinched another win from the hands of Charles Leclerc. Ferrari are now completely out of the picture with a 100 point gap between them and their rivals. Sergio Perez managed to finish ahead of Charles Leclerc despite starting from 11th position. Despite starting 10th, Max Verstappen won the race by some margin. That victory ensured that Ferrari hammered the final nail in the coffin of Ferrari’s championship dream.

Ferrari had the pace and was fastest in stint one when the race started. Both drivers were quite capable of beating all other cars on the grid with mediums tyres. But things collapsed after the team opted for a two-stop race. Charles Leclerc led the race, more than 7 seconds behind Max Verstappen. But he was then brought into the pits for a tire change to the hard compound. As soon as he exited the pits, he found himself right next to Max, who was riding on Medium and had to battle Verstappen on those new tyres. But as the race progressed Charles struggled hard to get traction on those hard tires. He eventually lost to Max and later found himself back in the pits to buy brand new soft compound tires. But by then he was losing track positions and was in 6th place. Ultimately losing the race but not even getting on the podium.

fans are angry with the strategist and openly demand a replacement. This isn’t the first time the strategy team has let Charles down with a surefire win.

Red Bull wins the fight against Ferrari

Red Bull could now loosen up their work with a gap that will make the title sure. Ferrari can now give up all hopes of the championship and so can Charles Leclerc.
Max Verstappen is currently 80 points ahead of Charles and can now only finish second in each race to win his second title.

Ferrari is now more likely to take second place, Mercedes is consistently catching up. It was another double podium for the Silver Arrows and they looked quick in the latter part of the race. They are now just 30 points behind Ferrari.
