Matthew Stafford’s latest interview is sure to wow Rams fans

Quarterback Matthew Stafford expressed his belief that the Los Angeles Rams could do better this year than they did last year when they won the Super Bowl.

Last off-season, the Los Angeles Rams struck a blockbuster trade with the Detroit Lions to acquire quarterback Matthew Stafford. The move was made to improve in position and achieve their goal of winning the Super Bowl. In fact, in his first season with the team, Stafford helped lead Los Angeles to Super Bowl 56 where they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.

during one Interview with Stu Jackson from the official Rams websiteStafford said that with what he now knows about the team and offense, he feels they can “go beyond what’s possible [they] made last year.”

Matthew Stafford believes the Rams can go beyond what they did last season

Given how he played last season, how can Rams fans not be thrilled to hear Stafford say he believes the team can be even better than last year’s Super Bowl winner?

In his first season with the team, Stafford completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 4,886 yards, 41 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. In the four playoff games, Stafford rushed for 1,188 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions (70.0 completion percentage).

The offense will look a little different in 2022 than it will in 2021. The team has signed former Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson to work with Cooper Kupp and Van Jefferson, which is a great addition to the team . However, they traded Robert Woods to the Tennessee Titans, and Odell Beckham Jr. is currently a free agent as he recovers from a cruciate ligament rupture sustained in Super Bowl 56.

Stafford and the Rams will look to repeat themselves as Super Bowl champions. Since the NFC isn’t as brutal a route to the Super Bowl as the AFC, it wouldn’t be out of the question for them to make the big game again.

They get their first big test in the season opener, where they face an AFC rival in the Buffalo Bills. Matthew Stafford’s latest interview is sure to wow Rams fans
