Matchcard updated after SmackDown on August 5th

Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Title at the WWE Clash at the Castle on September 3rd.

WWE SummerSlam in the rearview mirror, meaning the focus is on their next Premium Live Event, which happens to be happening on Labor Day weekend. This event will be Clash at the Castle and will be held at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. We already know that Roman Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at the show, but a new match has been added.

Prior to the August 5 episode of Smackdown, it was revealed that there would be a seven-woman Gauntlet match. The winner would challenge SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan at the Clash at the Castle.

Raquel Rodriguez put on a long run, eliminating Sonya Deville, Shotzi, Xia Li and Natalya to reach the final part of the game. The final contestant was Shayna Baszler, who managed to pin Rodriguez after placing her in the Kirifuda clutch submission.

Now she will face Morgan in the Clash at the Castle.
