A loose ball came to Fred outside the box but his skillful right-footed shot was safely handled by Rulli as the chance to appear early in the second half was high. Carrick decided to bring in Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford to replace Donny van de Beek and Martial in the 66th minute.
