Master Chief and Sparta go to war in first ‘Halo’ trailer (Video)

Paramount+ has released the first full trailer for the movie adaptation of the “Halo” during the Sunday broadcast of the NFL’s AFC Championship Game on CBS.
The series will premiere on March 24. You can check out the trailer in the video above.
According to Paramount+, the series “will take place in a universe that first appeared in 2001, dramatizing an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.” . ‘Halo’ will weave personal stories deeply woven with action, adventure and rich visions of the future. “
“Halo” was requested to play the series at Showtime in 2018. It was eventually redirected to Paramount + in some part of a trade for “The Man Who Fell to Earth.”
Along with Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Spartan John-117, “Halo” stars Natascha McElhone as Dr. Halsey, creator of Spartan super soldiers, and Jen Taylor as Cortana, the most advanced AI in history human history. Other stars include Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Natasha Culzac, Olive Grey, Yerin Ha, Bentley Kalu, Kate Kennedy, Charlie Murphy and Danny Sapani.
Executive producers include Kane, Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television in partnership with 343 Industries, directors Otto Bathurst and Toby Leslie for One Big Picture and Killen and Scott Pennington for Chapter Eleven. Kiki Wolfkill, Frank O’Connor and Bonnie Ross are executive producers for 343 Industries.
The process of adapting “Halo” has been slow over the past few years, going through a change of director in 2019 when Otto Bathurst’s role as Rupert Wyatt, and like every other series, was delayed due to the pandemic. Additionally, co-host Kyle Killen has stepped down and other host Steven Kane is leaving after the season, meaning a potential Season 2 will need a new host.
The series will be distributed globally by CBS Studios International.
