MassivelyOP’s 2022 Golden Yachties: The most inadvisable MMO name
MassivelyOP’s not-so-serious end-of-year awards continue today with our vote the most inadvisable MMO name. (We call these silly awards the Golden Yachties in honor of this awesome meme about gaming bloggers sailing around on a golden yacht with all their blogging money. Obviously, our Yacht is built of rhodium-plated moonstone, not just gold.)
And the winner is…
SUNSET WORLD ONLINE
Consider this a gentle rip because we’re not out to hit here. element quest was a perfect name for this little indie title, but then the developers got a chance to reboot the game and choose a new name… and they chose sunset world online. It’s basically up there with population zero.
By the way, this game is still alive and in Early Access, so it has something to offer. No sunsets here, no sir.
