Mason Mount reveals he has “fallen in love” at Old Trafford amid rumors of Man United’s interest in Chelsea’s star

Chelsea teenage sensation Mason Mount has admitted his love for Manchester United amid a possible transfer to the Theater of Dreams following the Englishman’s dour season at Stamford Bridge.

The attacking midfielder, who is also a Chelsea Academy graduate, failed to impress Graham Potter on his arrival from Brighton and the Chelsea number 19 is horrible about the little magic Potter had.

Mount has been influential in previous games and has been named Chelsea’s Player of the Year for the last two seasons, but the superstar could see the exit doors with the current season’s departure.

However, in a recent interview, Mount spoke about his childhood favorite club Portsmouth FC and how much he enjoyed Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous free-kick goal against his supporting club and against England’s former No1. 1 Goalkeeper David James.

“I think everyone watched the video when I was younger when I based my free-kick on him. I always watched him very closely when he was at United as a little boy. I loved the way he played, his free kicks. ”- said Mount.

“I’m a huge Pompey fan so I went to the game when they were playing at Old Trafford and he scored that free-kick against David James. I was actually at the game, in the corner, so I saw it first hand and I think after that I kind of fell in love with the technique and what he was doing and he fell in love as a player.” – the England attacking midfielder further added.

Cristiano has been a major source of inspiration for many of today’s superstars and Mount is one of them as he confessed his admiration for the Portuguese sensation and how he tried to emulate CR7’s free-kick technique.

“I’m always trying to look and work out what I can do to incorporate it into my game. I used to look at him (Cristiano) but now playing and competing against him is the journey you take by watching someone in the stands as a fan and then being in the same seat and playing against them. – Bracket explained.

Mason Mount eats, sleeps and breathes football and he loved every bit of it but now his situation at Chelsea remains in jeopardy, where he will end up next season will be very interesting to watch.

“It’s a crazy journey and yes, that’s why I love football so much.” – Mount Concluded.
