Mase stumbles upon fans after saying he’s signing with Death Row Records

In a bizarre turn of musical events, former Bad Boy Records rapper Mas He is reportedly signing with Death Row Records, making him the first artist to be signed to both former revival musical labels.
In a recent TikTok video, the Harlem World rapper claimed that he is in the process of signing a deal with the legendary West Coast rap label, which was recently taken over by his former collaborator, rapper Snoop Dogg.

“That was my last donut,” the host said in the clip, as he sits in the back seat of his car and casually strolls around the Los Angeles area “naked.”
He continued. “I will train. I do tour days. I will make my body right. And I’m on Crenshaw. Just passed PICO. Just passed Slauson. And I’m out here to meet up with Snoop so I can do another joint venture with Death Row Records. So I’ll officially be the first signed to Bad Boy and Death Row. And we’re gonna rekindle the Tupac thing. Let’s see where this gets us.” The What You Want moderator captioned the post, “@SnoopDogg wya.”
The announcement came as a massive shock to rap fans, as many are familiar with the Bad Boy vs. Death Row feud. Then, under Suge Knight’s regime, the dispute transformed hip-hop culture in the mid-’90s. So influential was the discord that it was credited with the deaths of two legendary rappers, Tupac in 1996 and Notorious BIG a year later.
Many have already taken to social media to share their thoughts on the reported new venture, including a stunned Twitter user who wrote: “Mase, who signed on death row at 45 and came back as a rapper, wasn’t on my 2022 calendar .”
“My 1997 spirit has to process all this,” another person commented.
Several others saw this as a blow, such as his former boss Sean “Diddy” Combs, whom Mase has accused of stealing from artists and Mase himself in an ongoing feud over the rapper’s masters.
“Mase said he was signed on Snoop’s death row to shoot Diddy and I can’t wait for his phone to break again so he can forget how to get on the internet like where from are you coming? …” wrote a third.
