Michael Ricci, a spokesman for Governor Larry Hogan’s office, released a statement from the agency, saying police are aware of the protests and will monitor the convoy as it moves across the country.

The group behind the protest, dubbed the People’s Convoy, is calling for an end to pandemic-related health protocols.

The convoy is scheduled to depart from Adelanto Stadium, a stadium in Adelanto, California on February 23, arriving in Hagerstown, Maryland on the evening of March 4.
On March 5, the convoy is scheduled to depart from Hagerstown and arrive in the I-495 area, although the route is subject to change.
Organizers say the convoy will not go into Washington, D.C
