Marvel World of Heroes is an AR game from Pokémon Go developers

The Marvel Universe is getting its own augmented reality game. Wonderland of Heroes was announced on Friday during Disney’s game show at the D23 2022 show. The mobile game is being developed by Niantic, the company behind it Pokemon Goand is scheduled for release sometime in 2023.
Similar to Pokemon Go, Wonderland of Heroes will allow gamers to use their mobile devices for AR-based gameplay on the go. The game allows players to create their own superhero identity and face off against powerful foes with friends. In the trailer, we see players wielding a collection of powers that have become staples of Marvel Comics, including Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, Cyclops’ laser, and Doctor Strange’s sorcery.
But you’ll need more than your real-life friends to stop the Marvel Universe’s greatest villains, and that’s why Wonderland of Heroes will also allow players to team up and work together with some of the most iconic characters in the Marvel Universe to defend Earth.
As well as pokemon go, Players must explore areas of the real world and complete certain tasks to unlock certain things in the game, including equipment and abilities.
Although the game does not yet have a definitive release date, players can now pre-register on the game’s website to participate as early as possible.
