Marvel Snap gets even more multiplayer with today’s Battle Mode

It was one of Ben Brode’s most requested features Marvel snap: A one-on-one battle mode to go head-to-head with friends. And with the January 31st update, this mode is finally here.
Studio Second Dinner explained the new unranked mode as a way for players to engage in an “ultra-competitive way to play against friends.”
Unlike the typical one-and-done format, Battle Mode challenges two players to battle using the same deck over multiple rounds. Each player starts with 10 health points (replacing the dice), and the first player whose health is completely depleted loses. The studio expects a full fight to last around 20 minutes thanks to the “high stakes” rounds that take place after a few matches.
“Also, each player’s deck is locked for the duration of the fight. This means you can quickly learn what cards are in your deck, and your opponent may know what sneaky tricks you’re hiding. Keeping track of which cards in your deck weren’t seen by your opponent can make all the difference in getting an extra snap,” the studio explained.
